Responsibilities * Assisting Dentists: Dental assistants work closely with dentists during patient examinations and treatments. They provide chairside assistance by passing instruments, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring the patient\'s comfort.
- Patient Care: Dental assistants play a crucial role in patient care. They help prepare patients for treatment, take and develop X-rays, and record medical history and vital signs. They may also provide post-operative instructions and advice on oral hygiene practices.
- Sterilizing Equipment: Dental assistants are responsible for sterilizing and preparing dental instruments, equipment, and materials. They follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
