Job Description

Responsibilities


Operate passenger and material hoists, cranes, and other lifting machinery to move personnel, equipment, and goods. Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of all hoisting equipment, including safety devices and cables, to ensure they meet safety regulations and operational standards. Communicate with ground crew, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate lifts and ensure efficient workflow. Ensure passengers and materials are securely loaded and unloaded. Adhere to all safety procedures, regulations, and work instructions, and never exceed the equipment's safe working load. Maintain accurate logs of hoisting activities, equipment usage, and any malfunctions or safety hazards. Perform minor maintenance tasks and report any mechanical issues to a supervisor for scheduled maintenance.
Requirements


Experience operating hoists or similar heavy machinery, preferably in an industrial or construction environment. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to lifting operations. Physical fitness and the ability to work in potentially noisy, high-stress, or high-exposure environments. Good communication skills to coordinate with other site personnel. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as needed by the project. * Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as hard hats and safety shoes.
