Job Summary:



We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Pastry Chef to craft high-quality, visually appealing pastries, desserts, and baked goods. The ideal candidate will focus on maintaining consistency while introducing innovative creations that elevate our pastry offerings.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare and bake a wide variety of goods including cakes, cookies, tarts, breads, pastries, and plated desserts. Develop new dessert menus and seasonal specials in collaboration with the Head Chef. Ensure high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the pastry kitchen. Monitor inventory and order ingredients to maintain stock levels. Decorate pastries and desserts using modern techniques and traditional methods. Maintain cost control and minimize food wastage. Ensure all products meet the quality standards and presentation guidelines of the establishment. Stay updated on trends in pastry and dessert arts.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or relevant role. Culinary degree or diploma in pastry arts is preferred. In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment. Creativity and an eye for detail in presentation. Excellent time-management and organizational skills. Comfortable working early mornings, weekends, or holidays depending on shift needs. Strong leadership and communication skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,100.00 per month
