You will help to conduct bedside financial counselling for admitted patients, providing clear guidance on estimated, interim, and final medical costs. Assist patients in exploring financing options to help them make informed decisions and manage their out-of-pocket expenses.
Work location: Central
Work hours: 5 days work week only

office hours.
If work on Saturday, 1 weekday will be scheduled off.
Sunday permanently off.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Counselling & Admission
Conduct financial counselling for patients and next-of-kin on estimated hospital bills, available subsidies, schemes, and payment options.
Assist patients in completing payment forms and refer eligible cases to the Business Office or Medical Social Worker for financial assistance.
Ensure proper documentation and follow-up of all ongoing cases until patient discharge.
Patient Billing
Handle patient and next-of-kin billing enquiries and collect deposits, outstanding bills, and payments for medical or ancillary items.
Process daily NETS and credit card transactions for patient payments.
National Forms Management (NEFR / MCAF / MT)
Advise patients and next-of-kin on form requirements and necessary supporting documents.
Ensure timely submission of original forms to MOHH and update SAP records accordingly.
Raise e-BARFs and merge request cases accurately and on time.
Manage departmental supplies inventory.
Key Requirements:
Min. GCE O' Level Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Business Administration / Finance or related fields.
Good knowledge / prior experience in CPF and insurance matters.
Team player with natural ability to interact with healthcare team of all levels.
Pleasant disposition, approachable, have initiative and drive to resolve issues.
