Patient Service Officer (5.5 Days/ Office Hours)

Job Description


The Patient Service Officer will be station in Billing Office and she is responsible for manage daily patients' discharges and preparations of their bills including weekends and public holidays (on rotational basis).

Responsibilities:

  • Handles the submission of Medisave/ Medishield Life claims including those the Private Medical Insurance claims through the MediClaim system.
  • Process patients' refunds through cheques and credit cards in a timely manner.
  • During claim submission through the Mediclaims system, ensure all mandatory fields are entered and that bill size information tally to that of the bill size in HIS.
  • Attends to email, phone enquiries from patients, doctors, clinics, wards and to ensure the enquiries are managed in a timely manner and appropriately with proper closure.
  • Sorting of patients' bills including and retrieval of documents including packing of bills into boxes for transfer to warehouse.
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum "O" levels.
  • Able and willing to project a positive image for the company when interacting with external parties.
