The Opportunity The position is based in our Singapore based Financial Services, Technology Consulting team. As part of our strategic growth, we are looking for an experienced consultant in the Payments sector who is aspiring to join a vibrant, growing and dynamic team, which still processes a pragmatic “start-up” mindset within an established global firm. You would help drive growth in the Asia Pacific Payments consulting practice and, working with Account and Delivery teams, drive engagement through the entire project lifecycle from pre-sales to execution and ongoing engagement with EY’s clients. You would expect to leverage your in-depth subject matter expertise in the payments domain, potential network relationships as well possessing a solid background in external consulting skillsets with hands-on transformational experience. You would be entrusted with senior project advisory and delivery roles within multi-disciplinary team environments and face off with senior client stakeholders, SME’s as well as actively managing client relationships. Furthermore, you leverage your expert methodology know-how in preparing and overseeing high quality deliverables. This role also provides important consulting advisory and subject matter leadership with pre-sales / business development and client account teams such as developing proposals, creating thought leadership and generating value proposition materials to position EY in the market.
To Qualify for the role, you must have

• Experience demonstrating business-led technology transformational project credentials is a pre-requisite to the role
• Proven track record in financial services with strong grasp of the payments eco system, including cards, payments and digital / open banking
• Bachelor's degree with minimum of 10 years of experience in Banking and Financial Services industry. Exposure to core banking, payments is a must have skill
• Experience working on major global transformation initiatives, for example SWIFT GPI, ISO 20022, Real Time Payments etc
• Advanced ability to develop innovative and multi-disciplinary solutions with various teams across dispersed teams and cultures is key
• Robust project management methodology skills (i.e. waterfall/ agile) applied within multi-disciplinary project environments are expected. Furthermore, brings typical senior external consultant skillsets such as requirements engineering, process design, workshop facilitation, change management
• Recent experience of working as an agile PM across multiple mature agile product development teams. Successfully collaborated with Product, UX, Scrum Master & Engineering in multi-functional teams & across the leadership of these functions
• Ability to forecast and create roadmaps, adjusting with new information and changing business priorities, to achieve programme goals
• Ability to advise and lead with supporting pre-sales and account management teams with providing domain expertise and consulting methodology know-how, preparing proposals, develop and perform value proposition presentations, and developing service and solution offerings
• Possessing key client relationships and networks plus strong contributions with business development activities is important with this senior role
• Strong team player skills and working under pressure / deadlines within multi-stakeholder environments while dealing with ambiguity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in other foreign languages would be an additional asset.
• Ability to liaison between lines of business and the development team, while working with a wide range of stakeholders and collaborating with your team
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
• Pro-actively lead/participate in design/solution architecting of target state
