Payroll Officer

Job Description



  • Perform all payroll related functions for a headcount of approximately 180
  • Process and/or issue employee paychecks and payslips of earnings and deductions. Compute employee wages and deductions in the system.
  • Back up transaction files and transmit to payroll system according to company procedures.
  • Review, verify, and reconcile hours worked, pay adjustments, and other pay-related information, and post information onto designated records.
  • Provide information to employees on payroll matters, tax issue etc.
  • Perform tax clearance and yearly reporting to authority
  • Submission of pro-family claims and any related authorities\' salary claim e.g. NS reservist pay; childcare; paternity and maternity claims; FWL etc
  • Work with HR team in employee related claims e.g. Work Injury and H&S Claim
  • Perform monthly payroll reporting
  • Process casual labour payroll
  • Liaise with external auditor in payroll related enquiries
  • Follow all company policies and procedures; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
Work Experience
  • Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in same capacity in hotel finance environment
  • Detailed and meticulous
  • A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possess good communication
  • Highly motivated individual
  • Able to work under stress and in fast pace environment.
