Facilitate execution of P&C structured reinsurance solutions in combination with cross-functional teams.
Actively contribute, as member of cross-functional teams, to the identification and origination of P&C transaction opportunities in Asia, with focus on South-East Asia, India, Hong Kong and Korea (SID markets).
Bring innovative ways to show the value of P&C structured solutions to our clients, through compelling analytics and presentation materials.
In collaboration with Underwriting, ensure that best practice underwriting and actuarial resources are utilized. Ensure compliance with regulatory, accounting, tax and legal requirements (mitigate reputational risk).
Main tasks/activitiesClient focus
Identify client themes and drivers for client needs to support the origination of P&C transactions in Asia.
Meet regularly for quality discussions about client needs with key external and internal clients, including brokers, to develop professional relationships.
Create structures, transaction plans and contracts tailored to meet client needs.
Represent PCSS as an innovator internally and externally.

Manage transaction process and ensure an inclusive deal team approach with underwriters, actuarial and extended deal teams within SR.
Develop and promote innovation.
Lead deal execution while promoting best practice and address governance matters. Drive efficiency using an inclusive deal team approach with cross-functional teams.

Participate in planning and implementing P&C transaction strategy for the P&C SID markets in collaboration with the SR SID team.

Organise and participate in internal sessions to promote PCSS capabilities.
Job requirementsProfessional Experience
Minimum 5 years\' experience in the financial/insurance industry with experience in reinsurance
Thorough understanding of reinsurance risk and actuarial principles.
Ideally practical experience in executing tailored P&C reinsurance transactions.
Technical Skills
Strong financial acumen with capital management / solvency proficiency, and ideally some understanding of corporate finance
Outstanding analytical capabilities.
Solid knowledge of reinsurance products and markets.
Leadership qualities
Entrepreneurial mindset.
Excellent team player with strong communication and facilitation skills, and with potential to manage large cross-functional teams.
Ideally, demonstrated skills in negotiation, influencing and relationship building

Language skills
Fluency in English required.
Good command of another Asian language preferred but not essential
Educational Experience
College degree required, Graduate degree preferred.
