P E TEACHER

Roles & Responsibilities

The GUILD International College and Melbourne International School welcomes applicants for the role of PE Teacher . You will be part of a social enterprise set up to give all students an equal opportunity to good education. We work collaboratively with highly qualified teachers, specialists, and therapists to support a diverse group of students aged 3 to 12 at MIS and 10 to 30 years at The GUILD. Your Impact and Contributions

• Preparation of Lesson plans and Teaching Materials
• Weekly Preparation and Conducting PE Lessons
• Weekly updates
• Termly reviews and reports on student progress
• Working collaboratively with teachers, our Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist to provide personalised PE programmes to students to improve their fitness levels
• Planning and Coordinating School PE related events as well as competitions

Requirements:

• Passion in Physical Education and to help special needs students maximise their fitness potential

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Recognized qualification from Polytechnic or University in Sports Science, Physical Education etc

• Work location: MIS at Loewen Gardens , The GUILD at Tanglin Road

• Relevant work experience in special needs school, SEN sports coaching will be an advantage

• Salary for Diploma graduate: $3000 and Degree graduate: from $3300

• Work hours 8am to 5pm

• Up to 45 days of school holidays per annum

• 6 \xe2\x80\x93 8 professional development sessions.
