KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

As a performance analyst -System Implementation, your main focus would be to implement a new performance system for the Performance Team.In addition, you will have supplementary responsibilities that would include ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of investment performance and analytical reporting for various stakeholders.

• Work closely with the Project Team and the Vendor in implementing a new performance project.
• Work with the business users to understand their requirements.
• Liaise with the key stakeholders for re-designing key process flows.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and manage expectations.
• Manage and track Project timelines to ensure delivery of the Project.
• Review performance and portfolio analytics for use in client reports.
• Answer any query on fund and/or benchmark returns, asset returns or attribution results
• Attend to requests from fund managers, client portfolio managers, sales & marketing on performance and attribution
• Produce peer fund comparison analysis based on Morningstar Direct
• Ensure all new procedures are documented and agreed.
• Identify and execute continuous process improvement and automation
• Embed self-service analytics in data products to empower end users to get the information they need, when they need it

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 5 years relevant experience in a performance analysis, risk analysis or similar role
• Implementation/System Migration experience of a Performance or Attribution system is a must.
• Vendor management skills and Project Management skills.
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar field
• Understanding of portfolio analysis including performance calculation methodologies and risk analytics
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable with complex formulas and financial instruments (eg: derivatives)
• Strong Excel skills and programming language (particularly Power Query, DAX, or SQL) is highly desirable
• Experienced with Microsoft Power Platform (i.e., Power BI, Power Automate).
• Experience in business intelligence, data analysis and/or data visualisation
