Perfume Analyst - Your future position?

Location: Pioneer, Singapore

Reporting to: Analytical Lab Manager

As a Perfume Analyst, based in Singapore, you will provide analytical support for the Development teams of Consumer Products and Fine Fragrances in South East Asia. You will also be involved in the analytical laboratory activities (GC/MS instrument maintenance, safety procedures, SOPs, supplies).

You will:

Work with requesters and management to define projects\' priorities and analytical needs

Perform analysis of perfume in market products including sample preparation, data treatment and analytical schema transcription.

Perform data treatment using software and specific analytical databases.

Translate analysis into formula for perfumers

Assess the consistency of results, write reports and share these with requestors

Use current IT tools to manage requests and record results in databases

Perform preventive maintenance of the chromatographic equipment to ensure reliability of results.

Work with analytical network to stay up-to-date with standard protocols

Work with requesters and management to define projects\' priority and analytical needs.

Your professional profile includes:

Bachelor\'s Degree in Chemistry or related science

5 or more years experience in perfume analysis and experience in analytical techniques (GC/MS)

Knowledge of GLP (Good Laboratory Practices)

A flexible team player with the ability to evolve in a business reactive context, adapting to customer needs

Knowledge of fragrance raw materials and composition of essential oils
