Job Description



POSITION SUMMARY
PC1 is part of Pfizer’s Hospital Business Unit (BU) and are responsible for managing the product flow and sales order management from the PGS sites to the end customer. The PC1 Customer Operations Lead is a key part of the organization, supporting the PC1 business at site and acting as the point of contact for the PGS site to the end customer
Role on Site:


  • Understand and manage the site capacity and capabilities while delivering customer expected results.

  • Subject matter expert regarding the PC1 MSA terms and facility addenda

Project Management:

  • Lead and support cross-site and PC1 projects

  • Represent PC1 at site initiatives to ensure, best practices between Customer and PGS site,

  • Liaison with other PC1 Colleagues to ensure alignment of global processes and solutions

Day-to-Day Operations:

  • Collaborate with PGS site operations to Optimize schedules based on PC1 customer forecast

  • Negotiate with PC1 customers any changes required to their replenishment plan

  • Work closely with PC1 Supply Chain Lead to:

    • Analyze and provide the PC1 customer with any required supply chain reports

    • Support with analysis of annual forecasts and inputs to LRVF

    • Support the PO/SO process, coordinating shipping with customer

    • Support customers’ complaints that related to shipments/logistics and coordinate with Warehouse and Forwarder for investigation and CAPA implementation

  • Prepare and make presentations to higher management to report on projects, achievements, business cases.

  • Work closely with the PC1 site navigator to realize opportunities for new products or extensions of existing product lines

  • Coordinates the resolution of technical problems identified with a PC1 customer’s product. Recommends/implements solutions that are mutually acceptable to both the PGS site and PC1 customer.

  • Provides input for financial sales LE and results.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Roll out and lead as required a PC1 operational meeting to review and provide dashboards of metrics that would include site representation and PC1 Account Lead representation

  • Strategic thinker: Recommends/implements solutions that are mutually acceptable to both the PGS site and PC1 customer. Ability to foresee any outcomes from commutations

  • Prepare and make presentations to higher management to report on projects, achievements, business cases.

  • Ability to Collaborate and Negotiate across PC1 BU’s and PGS site to ensure value realization

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Business, Engineering or Science; MBA or post graduate degree is an advantage

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain management; virtual plant/contract manufacturing experience an advantage

  • Specific subject matter expert (SME) in Manufacturing Operations, Planning and Customer Service.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge and understanding of contract terms in relation to manufacturing

  • Experience in strategy development and implementation

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross functional projects

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and collaborate with individuals and groups at multiple levels across the organization of various functional lines across Pfizer Global Supply.

  • Demonstrated personal leadership, accountability, and organizational skills with proven ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong in relationship building and team work

  • Ability to make decisions without all the information

EXPERIENCE
Include the minimum number of years of relevant experience required for the position (where legally permissible).

  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain management; virtual plant/contract manufacturing experience an advantage
