Pharmacy Technician
Work Schedule:
5.5 days/week, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (staggered start times between 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM)Join our healthcare team as a
Pharmacy Technician
, where you'll support safe and efficient medication dispensing, provide excellent patient care, and ensure smooth pharmacy operations.Key Responsibilities:
Accurately pack and dispense medications in accordance with guidelines Counsel patients on medication use following Good Dispensing Guidelines Monitor drug interactions and escalate issues to pharmacists as needed Manage inventory, check expiry dates, and replenish pharmacy supplies Operate and monitor pharmacy IT/automation systems Maintain cleanliness and equipment in the pharmacy Coach and orient new team members Ensure security of medications and patient information Support quality assurance and improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences / Certified Pharmacy Technician Course / Relevant pharmacy experience Strong communication and customer service skills A team player with good initiative and attention to detail
