Job Description
:
Our client is looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and dispense medications to patients under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Handle daily ward requests and ensure timely supply of inpatient medications.
- Assist pharmacists with procurement, receipt, and processing of drugs to meet hospital requirements.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of drug inventory, including usage, expiry, and stock counts.
- Ensure compliance with corporate quality, regulatory standards, and hospital Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support day-to-day pharmacy operations as directed by pharmacists or the Pharmacy Manager.
- Perform any other related duties assigned by the Pharmacist or Pharmacy Manager.
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent qualification.
- Valid certificate in Pharmacy Technician course preferred.
- Experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting or inventory management is an advantage.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Responsible, organized, and able to work well in a team.
- Mondays to Fridays and alternate Saturdays or Sundays (based on roster)
- Working hours: 8:30am 5:30pm or 9:00am 6:00pm (based on roster)
