Overview of the Philippines Security Manager Role The Philippines Security Manager is accountable for implementing and directing the Philippines security program following Global Security standards and direction. You will provide consultation in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining security processes across various business units to reduce financial loss to the Company. The role is expected to identify significant risks, design and implement strategies and programs to prevent/reduce loss of Company assets. You will be asked to achieve risk reduction through increased security awareness. Your team The role will report directly to the Asia-Pacific Security Director from Global Security, Corporate Functions. There is a secondary reporting line to the Cabuyao Plant site Human Resources Director. What success looks like Functional performance – You will be asked to develop close relationships with law enforcement agencies, security agencies, and private sector counterparts across the geographical region while guiding development of these same relationships for Facility Security Owners. You will be the senior security consultant within a near billion-dollar business. As such, you will brief senior management on the status of security issues. They will rely on your leadership direction to the management and professional staff within the geographical region’s various business units. Developing consensus positions within a business unit’s climate of diverse operational activities will be critical to your success. Revenue and profits – The role will develop and ensure services in response to criminal financial loss, crimes against persons, sabotage, threats, emergencies, illegal acts, and property or environmental crimes. The revenue you create will be more in terms of stopped losses, protected individuals or other savings. Time-based performance – You’ll participate in and occasionally direct the approach, deployment and execution of investigations which are expected to be closed in 60 days. Projects that invest in access control, CCTV systems and other capital will be assigned deadlines deemed reasonable based on project scope. You are expected to meet those deadlines, or clearly voice to leadership any obstacle arising that will block you from achieving the deadline. Employee growth – You are expected to research and deploy state of the art technology solutions and innovative security management techniques to provide total asset protection for Company assets. Your role will start at and primarily focus on P&G’s Cabuyao Plant, Laguna. If you excel at this position, there is potential for assumption of more security duties connected to the Sales and Marketing Organization and promotion. Responsibilities of the role

  • Assists in managing the overall security program for Philippines business units.
  • Manages the investigation effort across the geographical region.
  • Maintains communication and collaborative working relationships with the Philippines HR Leaders.
  • Maintains communications with regionally based security managers regarding Global Security programs.
  • Takes direction from the APAC Security Manager.
  • Maintains communication with Security Representatives throughout Philippines.
  • Maintains communication with the BPO, Product Supply, Corporate Function, and BPO HR across Philippines.
  • Provides consultation and guidance to individual facility security representatives in Philippines.
  • Global Security Representative for internal and external critical business partners across Philippines.
  • Implements the GS security program across the geographical region in accordance with global standards and needs of the local business units.
  • Ongoing interaction with the HR managers to ensure security delivery meets their needs.
  • Regular consulting for MDO, GBU and CF based HR and Legal managers.
  • Provides direction and guidance to Security Representatives on the latest Global Security programs and processes.
  • Provides direction for and completion of Asset Protection Rating assessments for the geographical region ensuring all Company facilities maintain the appropriate level of security.
  • Provides direction on Purpose, Values and Principles (PVP) and Fraud issues as it relates to investigative follow-up and partnering with HR, Legal and Internal Audit.
  • Provides direction for Brand Protection work as required by incidents working with the GS Brand Protection coordinator.
  • Consults for crisis management and business continuity planning as it relates to security.
  • Deploys training programs for Facility Security Owners and Physical Security Owners.
  • Ensures established security processes and procedures are communicated/implemented across all sites within the the geographical region.
  • Regular interface with internal business partners, such as: Internal Audit, Real Estate, World Wide Quality Assurance, Corporate Facilities Engineering, etc. Works special projects associated with these organizations.
  • Regular interface with external business, such as: JLL, HP, IBM, Sodexo etc. Works special projects associated with these companies.
  • Assists with providing security consultation and training to all HR managers in the geographical region as needed.
  • Provides consultation for security of Company product shipments.
  • Stays up-to-date on current events to assess changes to geopolitical risks and provides updates as necessary.
  • Attempts to digitize, as much as possible, manual processes and then integrate them for visibility and transparency.
  • Reassesses top business and market risks based on data analysis, rumor, allegations or sample checks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Able to work effectively in politically charged situations leading to appropriate solutions.
  • Must be decisive and tough when needed; always employing appropriate diplomacy.
  • Outstanding communication skills; able to communicate concisely in oral and written manner.
  • Requires a track record of effective communication with all levels of management and external parties.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact across a broad range of customers over a sustained period of time.
  • Fluent in reading and speaking English and Tagalog.
  • 4 or more years of experience in the security industry.
