What You'll Be Doing
You'll take on a
dual role
combining classroom teaching and community programme support.
On Weekends (Teaching):
Conduct phonics and early literacy classes for children aged 18 months - 8 years
Create engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
Support daily operations and parent communication within a small, collaborative team
On Weekdays (Community & Programme Work):
Assist in planning and running literacy-focused outreach programmes
Coordinate volunteers and liaise with social service partners
Support fundraising, sponsorship and event coordination
Handle basic administrative duties, records and reports
Work Schedule
Monday: 9:30 am - 6:30 pm
Tuesday: 9:30 am - 6:30 pm
Friday: 9:45 am - 6:45 pm
Saturday & Sunday: 8:30 am - 7:00 pm
Requirements
Diploma or Degree
in Early Childhood, Performing Arts, Psychology or related field
Fresh graduates welcome (structured training provided)
Prior teaching, tutoring or volunteering experience an advantage
Strong English communication; additional languages an asset
Positive attitude, enjoys working with children and families
Team-oriented and adaptable to a dynamic environment
Comfortable working
on-site
during operating hours
