Job Description

$4500 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hours

Location: West

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop piping design specifications for the wastewater treatment project
• Design and layout the piping systems, including process piping, utility piping, and plumbing, ensuring compliance with industry codes, standards, and local regulations.
• Prepare detailed piping drawings, isometric drawings, and piping material specifications using AutoCAD or other relevant software.
• Select and specify appropriate piping materials, valves, fittings, and other components based on project requirements and compatibility with wastewater treatment processes.
• Calculate and determine pipe sizing, pressure drops, flow rates, and hydraulic characteristics to ensure optimal performance of the piping systems.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to procure piping materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project specifications.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of piping systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Conduct field inspections and surveys to verify piping installations, identify any deviations or deficiencies, and propose corrective actions.

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software for piping design and documentation is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
