Create technical proposals and provide support in commercial tenders. This includes defining the project scope and estimating the required manpower, time, cost, and material resources.
Conduct technical risk analysis and recommend potential mitigation strategies for identified risks.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the contract scope and technical/commercial requirements, particularly those related to piping or other technical matters, and ensure they are integrated into the piping design.
Possess familiarity with international piping design codes and standards, as well as piping material codes and standards. Ensure that the piping design complies with all relevant codes, regulations, class requirements, customer specifications, and corporate standards.
Demonstrate proficiency in the use and maintenance of design software tools and programs. Be capable of creating and maintaining databases as required.
Develop piping and equipment layout design drawings, both in 2D and/or 3D formats.
Create piping isometrics and generate Bill of Materials (BOM) for piping systems.
Coordinate and verify piping interfaces with mechanical equipment, instruments, and steel structures, as well as interfaces with customer tie-ins.
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience in Petrochemical & Chemical field
Proficient in AutoCAD, CADWorx Plant, CADWorx P&ID
Salary: $5,000 to $7,000
