Job Description

Seeking a competent Planner with the relevant working experience in petrochemical/Oil/Gas industry. The candidate must have exposure to planning work involving project planning and scheduling, and plant maintenance scheduling in live plant. Creating, maintaining and reviewing a programme of work. Developing project work strategies as well as scheduling, coordinating and monitoring. Review master workplan and conduct physical survey on-site. Conduct BQ and take-off. Plan complex job and develop resource plan with Scheduler, Execution lead, and Operations across all disciplines. Able to identify and monitor critical and sub-critical paths for major events. Develop a complete job plan with materials, resources and timeline. Review and monitor the sequence of work activity and identify discrepancy. Resolve scheduling issues, including: Negative Float, Out-of-sequence updates, resource overloads, scope change, progress validation, etc. Provide input into material of construction selection and management. Plan, estimate, track and schedule Field Order Change (FC)\xe2\x80\x99s). Adequately assess work contingencies with schedule impact, lead coordination activity between teams should contingencies arise. Participates in planning with Core/Work Teams

Requirements

• Diploma / Higher Nitec in electrical and instrumentation/ power engineering or equivalent qualification.

• At least 3 or more years of related work experience in the petrochemical, Oil/Gas/EPC environment performing planning and scheduling of project and maintenance activities.

• Fluent in English and strong communication, mathematical, organisational and problem-solving skills.

• Strong understanding of electrical/instrumentation engineering concepts.

• Demonstrates SAFETY is the top priority.

• Able to use Microsoft application (Word, excel, Visio, PowerPoint)

• Able to write project status reports covering cost and schedule progress.

• Experience in project planning, coordination and scheduling and an EPC environment.

• 5 days workweek

• Location Jurong Island/ transport pick up point Boon Lay MRT.

• Professional certificate in Primavera/Microsoft Project would be advantage.
