  • Work location: Yishun
  • Work hours: Mon-Fri, 8.30am - 6pm OR 9am - 6.30pm
  • Salary: up to $7,000 + AWS + VB (1 - 2 months)
The Job:
  • Work with contract manufacturers (CMs) to set and communicate short- and long-term shipment plans. Ensure resources are in place to meet shipment goals and help improve supply chain planning processes.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts to build long-term partnerships that meet business needs, including capacity, pricing, and inventory.
  • Collaborate with S&OP teams and CMs to create production schedules that meet inventory, delivery, and lead-time requirements. Work together to solve capacity or supply issues and plan for extra capacity during busy periods.
  • Track CM performance using key metrics like delivery, cost, and inventory. Review performance regularly and make adjustments as needed.
  • Analyze data on production costs, delivery times, and inventory to improve forecasts and resource planning.
  • Implement a clear process to manage production orders, ensuring the right parts are ordered to meet any product changes.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to manage workloads and allocate resources. Address critical business risks and identify ways to improve processes.
  • Stay updated on industry changes and communicate important updates to CMs, ensuring smooth order release and delivery.
  • Take part in annual business planning and provide monthly updates on projected vs. actual spending.
The Talent:
  • Diploma/Degree in supply chain management, engineering, business, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in business and manufacturing planning (operations, planning, delivery).
  • Strong experience with planning processes, including material planning and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).
  • Skilled in forecasting for materials and orders, as well as distribution management.
  • Proven ability in capacity planning and managing supply risks, both internally and with contract manufacturers.
  • Experience coordinating across departments such as Sales & Marketing, Production, and Contract Manufacturers.
  • Solid background in supplier management and building strong vendor relationships.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Power BI, and ERP systems like SAP.
