Planning Executive (enforcement)
Job Description
What the role is:You will be part of the Development Control Group's Enforcement team.What you will be working on:You will be required to :- Take charge and manage complaints on planning infringements carry out investigations Prepare inspection and investigation reports, evaluate the planning offence committed and recommend enforcement actions to take Document evidence collected including taking statements as part of investigations and provide testimony in court when necessary Administer enforcement notices and composition fines were necessary Provide guidance to offenders on compliance requirements, appeals process and the exercise of statutory powers under Planning Act Coordinate with other government agencies to carry out joint enforcement work Coordinate and liaise with community partners e.g. Condo MCSTs, Managing Agents on collaborative enforcementWhat we are looking for:
- A polytechnic diploma in civil/structural engineering, mechanical/electrical engineering, architecture, building or such other relevant field. In the alternative, candidates without a diploma should possess at least 3 years of experience in enforcement related work. Minimum 3 years working experience in enforcement related work Good analytical, writing, presentation and communication skills Good investigation skills, have eyes for details and self-driven Ability to work independently as well as in a team is a must
