Job Description

What the role is:The Planning Systems and Support (PSS) Team, part of URA\'s Physical Planning Group (PPG), sits at the nexus between urban planners and the business systems they need for their daily work. PSS offers the unique opportunity to partner closely with both the ICT specialists and urban planners to co-develop and co-deliver enterprise IT systems, e-Services and digital work processes to meet evolving business needs.What you will be working on:As a Planning Executive in the Planning Systems and Support team, you will take on: \xe2\x80\xa2 System Administer duties: - Define and execute plans to test, migrate, implement and upgrade systems in a rigorous and effective way; - Define and execute plans to train and manage changes for stakeholders to ensure that systems are adopted successfully ; - Handle enquiries from customers, staff and service partners. - Perform System Administration and Access Control Management duties e.g. configure system settings, grant/revoke user roles; - Manage reporting of system defects/incidents - Assist in systems audit and follow-up on audit recommendations to ensure compliance to corporate policies and procedures. - Report cyber security incidents and ensure necessary follow-up and preventive measures with the relevant parties. \xe2\x80\xa2 IT Coordinator (ITC) duties: - Manage hardware/software inventory, fileshare network server folders and usage levels; - Coordinate regular installation and upgrading of staff IT equipment and software; - Assist in budgeting and forecasting, tender/quotation specifications preparation, evaluation and award of tender/quotation - Monitor contracts to ensure implementation, utilisation of approved budget and timely payment for work completion; - Ensure timely e-filing of system related documents, finance/procurement related documents/invoices - Assist in corporate/inter-agency initiatives and projects when required, such as ad-hoc projects, knowledge management and quality assurance programmes.What we are looking for:

• At least a Diploma qualification in the areas of Geospatial / Computer Science / System Engineering / related disciplines or with 2 years of working experience in IT system support \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in IT procurement, audit of IT software and services, best practices in general IT and end user support \xe2\x80\xa2 Good interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate working relationships with vendors and IT teams \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiarity with any of the following would be an advantage: - Scripting language such as Visual Basic, Java and Python, - Use of Robotic Processing Automation (RPA) - Authentication protocols and Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions e.g. Singpass, Corppass - Relevant experience in the use of any Geospatial or BIM/CAD software such as ESRI\'s ArcGIS Pro or Autodesk\'s Revit / AutoCAD is a bonus
