Job Description

• Supervising the cost control system and generating accounting variance reports for management review
• Supervise and execute the implementation of local standard cost roll.
• Work closely with the finance team to complete the monthly accounting close and monthly financial/operational analysis.
• Offers financial support and analysis to the business regarding manufacturing issues, such as process improvements and outsourced production, aiding in decision-making and optimization
• Supports global shared service team activities concerning accounts receivable and accounts payable as required, including contacting customers/vendors, acquiring remittances, and collaborating with the sales team to resolve any issues
• Supports inventory control efforts by aiding in the development of inventory management procedures, including cycle counting and compliance controls.
• Leads the execution, implementation, and auditing of fixed asset procedures and controls.
• Identifies and rectifies control weaknesses, ensuring comprehensive controls are established across all aspects of plant operations
• Assists in driving cost reductions through labor and material productivity initiatives, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and collaborating with operations to achieve results.
• Initiates and aids in the creation, development, and implementation of processes and procedures
• Provides local support for both external and internal audits and assists with local capital expenditure analysis.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum 7-10 years professional experience with at least 5 years in Operational Finance and/or Cost Accounting in a manufacturing environment (i.e., plant controller, cost accountant)
• Prior experience in US GAAP,IFRS reporting would be an added advantage.
