• Ensure Equipment Reliability and Usability: Review and plan electrical equipment replacement schedules, conduct root analysis for equipment breakdowns, recommend equipment modifications, and manage schedules for electrical-related tasks.
• Respond to Urgent Breakdowns: Handle immediate breakdown incidents efficiently.
• Optimize Energy Consumption: Review and develop electrical-related standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure energy efficiency.
• Ensure Compliance with Safety Regulations: Oversee plant compliance with electrical safety standards, manage inventory updates, and prepare risk assessments.
• Manage Maintenance and Cost Reduction: Supervise contractor work, negotiate proposals, review contractor reports, manage project costs, and identify cost reduction areas.
• Oversee Yearly Shutdowns: Responsible for yearly sub-station preventive maintenance and address all electrical troubleshooting.
• Deliver Projects on Time and Budget: Ensure all projects meet deadlines, budget constraints, and desired specifications, and conduct vendor service performance audits.
• Liaise with Technical Teams: Coordinate with the UMT HQ technical team for process improvement and resolving equipment issues.

The Talent

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in an MNC Chemical Plant.
• Strong knowledge of chemical processes and ESH regulations.
• Proficient with computers and data analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong planning abilities.
