Job Description
$3K + AWS + VB + allowance5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hoursLocation: NorthResponsibilities
- Operate fixed shear equipment with stationary grab used to cut the process steel scrap.
- Commit to plant safety procedures. Ensure all relevant safety measures are adhered prior to application of permit-to-work.
- Maintenance activities and supporting plant operation to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the maintenance of mobile machineries like Liebherr 954, Cat 336 Grapple / Magnetic and Volvo 480 Grapple.
- Ensure 5S housekeeping to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the plant area including control room, lightings are all function, appropriate tools and equipment are in working condition.
- Target for incident free and reliable operations, including timely and proper maintenance of systems.
- Ensure tools and equipment are replenished timely, reinstated and maintained.
- Provide immediate response to incidents and emergencies.
- NITEC /Degree /Diploma and above or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in operating manufacturing machinery is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
