Job Responsibilities:
- Planning and execution of mould renewal program.
- Review mould design (DFM) as per product specification drawing, negotiate and liaise with vendors/suppliers on new mould\'s requirements, and manage MTC Team.
- Review, develop and optimise existing mould operation - design concepts in line with production needs while providing the most cost-efficient and effective technical solutions.
- Liaise with the Product Engineering Development Group to understand new requirements and provide technical support and expertise in mould tooling prototyping.
- Ensure timely launches of new moulding tooling.
- Manage the plastic injection mould repair/maintenance program to cope with production needs promptly.
- Degree / Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years of experience in plastic injection moulding environment.
- Project Management skill is essential; knowledge of ISO-13485 for Medical Device Manufacturing is an added advantage.
- Shall be a team player with good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
