Responsible for electroplating research and development associated with new or existing products, equipment, instrumentation, Lean PACE project & new product project. To lead the plating manufacturing groups to meet production plan, department objectives.



Job Responsibilities




\xe2\x80\xa2 Continual improve manufacturing process and equipment capability to achieve higher production yield and quality

\xe2\x80\xa2 Drive cost reduction programs through continual improvement activities

\xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and organize preventive maintenance program for manufacturing equipment

\xe2\x80\xa2 To supervise plating technicians and operators in meeting manufacturing requirement

\xe2\x80\xa2 To maintain manufacturing data in Mfg/Pro system

\xe2\x80\xa2 To support Lean PACE programs & new product projects

\xe2\x80\xa2 Provide and prepare Mill cost and plated sample

\xe2\x80\xa2 To completed sample plating trial run and submit FA report

\xe2\x80\xa2 Analyse, investigate and /or otherwise solve manufacturing process issues

\xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in the development and maintain of manufacturing methods/procedure and/or systems which comply with ISO or other applicable requirements

\xe2\x80\xa2 To purchase items, spare parts for used in manufacturing activities

\xe2\x80\xa2 To develop new product or/and start up new processes in the areas of electroplating in timely fashion

\xe2\x80\xa2 To authorize for plating production line stoppage when process or quality related issues occurred

\xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and monitor spare part consumption cost, plating lines utilization

\xe2\x80\xa2 Liaise with Stamping and Assembly Department on manufacturing activities

\xe2\x80\xa2 Interface with Process Development Engineer on new products and processes\xe2\x80\x99 requirements
\xe2\x80\xa2 Possess a Degree in Science (Chemistry Engineering) or Mechanical Engineering or its\xe2\x80\x99 equivalent \xe2\x80\xa2 Two years\' experience with reel to reel electroplating knowledge. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of process FMEA. \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrated knowledge of chemical safety, \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of electroplating technology and manufacturing processes both chemically and mechanically. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good communication skills in interfacing with customers, internal engineering and manufacturing group. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to handle projects and follow them through to completion with minimum supervision. \xe2\x80\xa2 Hands-on ability to develop product and process. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to train others in proper handling of chemicals and to perform chemical analysis. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good interpersonal skills, strong technical background with analytical mind. \xe2\x80\xa2 Self-motivator and ability to communicate well with level of staff and external contacts. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to drive team to achieve department objectives.
