Playgroup Teacher
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Planning the curriculum to promote children\xe2\x80\x99s development in all domains.
Assisting in planning of the overall program with the team.
Preparing the environment suitable for exploration and learning with health and safety standards.
Interacting with children to promote learning through play and appropriate instruction.
Providing nurturance and guidance to children.
Observing children to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem.
Documenting their learning progress and write reports to parents.
Organise snack time and perform basic housekeeping of the learning environment after class.
Educating parents and encouraging family involvement.
Engaging in advocacy to communicate the value of early education to outside audiences.
Close collaboration and regular feedback sessions with team members.
Qualifications and experience
At least an Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education (ACECCE)
At least 1 year of experience working with children
Excellent communication skills and engaging personality
Leadership ability to influence children and guide them in the right direction
Patient, energetic, mature, compassionate
