Your role Our major Oil & Gas Downstream Client is urgently looking for Business Analyst who will be responsible for managing the project business services and contracting and materials management organization and functional interfaces through the Execution Stage. You will manage the overall project Cost & Schedule process, including implementing effective project controls and reporting across the project, as well as lead a team of Planners and Schedulers. You will provide project monitoring information and metrics to ensure alignment with plans, project controls and Project Objective and Strategy. You will define/validate Planner and Scheduler requirements to support project activities from Ops Readiness to commissioning to start-up and performance testing.
Contract length: 24 months Salary: $5,500.00 - $7,000.00 per month Schedule:
- Develop stewardship and reporting tools needed to 1) track progress on deliverables and 2) report progress externally
- Integrate planning and scheduling processes, developing harmonized tracking and reporting of integrated Commissioning & Start-Up (C&SU) progress. Integrate C&SU tracking into overall project schedule
- Manage monthly stewardship process, including data collection, analysis, reporting, management review, and external communications
- Develop cost tracking and stewardship budgets; coordinate business team company plan submission
- Support Commissioning and SU Managers to drive schedule compliance of deliverables; support QA/QC of deliverables content where applicable
- Handle ad hoc requests for data, analysis, and reporting for the project VLT, including VIP visits
- Support the team in preparing for and coordinating external audits
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of all Start-Up progress tracking and reporting tool
- Post-startup performance testing and handover over all key operating systems to the base plant
- Have minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in consulting (preferably in MNC consulting firms), business analysis, and Project Management Office (PMO)
- Have strong analytical and presentation skills
- Are able to collect, analyse, and visualise project schedule/cost data and present to higher management to ensure that the team is on the right track
- Oil & gas PMO experience (preferrred only). Open to candidate to other industries
