Podiatric Assistant * Work locations: Orchard/ Novena/ Kembangan/ Bukit Timah as assigned * Salary: $2800 to $5000 + VB (Depend on Experiences) * Working hours: 6 Day (Monday to Saturday, Clo Podiatric Assistant Work locations: Orchard/ Novena/ Kembangan/ Bukit Timah as assigned Salary: $2800 to $5000 + VB (Depend on Experiences) Working hours: 6 Day (Monday to Saturday, Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays) Working Hour: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Responsibilities 1. Administrative Schedule and manage patient appointments Participate in clinical team meetings to enhance patient care Assist the patient relations team in daily patient interactions as needed Help maintain patient files, records and other information Assist in maintaining compliance with the Practice's quality standards 2. Clinical Assist in preliminary examinations to assess and record patients' conditions, and diseases associated with the lower limbs Take and record patients' vital signs and ensure that their medical histories are properly recorded and updated Help make impressions of patients' feet for the purpose of creating casts and/or orthotic fittings Prepare patients for detailed examinations by the podiatrist, explaining what the treatment will include and what to expect Assist the podiatrists by setting up equipment and instruments to perform procedures, examinations and/or surgeries Assist podiatrists in minor surgical procedures by applying bandages and ensuring that affected areas are properly treated Assist elderly or handicapped patients in preparation for examination and/or surgical procedures. Operate the autoclave required to clean and sanitise equipment Ensure that examination rooms are properly cleaned and sanitised prior and post treatment Perform routine foot treatments and assist with the non-invasive treatment of common musculoskeletal conditions. Perform post-surgical wound care and assist with management of diabetic foot and leg wounds Communicate closely with patients ensuring their quality of care is maintained and experience is seamless. Ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management Qualifications NITEC, Diploma or Degree in Nursing is required for this role
