Job Description

:The JobGate Operations Management

• Perform checks on vehicular entries and ensure rules and regulations and relevant documents required by Jurong Port are in order.
• Reject entry/exit for any incomplete /invalid documentation cases and report to Security /ICC to follow up and vehicle to be escorted back to its original location, i.e. making U-Turn
• Ensure and educate driver to follow lanes discipline during entry/exit of the port.

Gate System Management

Gate Documents Check Management

• Documents present by driver is being checked and verified before cargo vehicle is allowed to enter/exit Port.
• Valid Vehicle number and IU registration.
• Valid Jurong Port Pass
• Valid vehicle time slot booking for laden trailer from 8am to 4pm on weekdays, excluding public holidays.
• Verify vessel has berthed and PM4 has been approved before entry is allowed for breakbulk dangerous goods (DG)
• Verify vessel has berthed before ship store cargo is allowed entry
• Verify valid Electronic Shipping Note (ESN), Delivery Note (DN), Tenant Delivery Note (TD) or Pass Out Note (PON)
• Ensure cargo quantity, description, destination and marking/numbers of packages described on documents match cargoes physically mounted on vehicle with correct registration number with correct Terminal Agreement (TA) operators stamp.
• Report wrongful declarations either in quantity, description, tonnage or volume to Main Gate IC &/or duty officer to follow up.

Counter Duty

• Perform documentation counter duty from 1845hrs to 2230hrs (Monday to Friday) at GCO Office, and/or during the respective Main Gate shift duty.

Job Requirement

• Minimum ITE graduate in any discipline
• Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply
• Possess basic computer knowledge
• Able to perform rotating morning and afternoon shift
