Role Responsibilities
Under the Client Coverage (CC) Investment Portfolio, the delivery of change initiatives / projects are grouped into various Hives (also known as Programs) to be managed and governed.
The role of the Portfolio Analyst (also known as Project & Program PMO) within the CC Operations Enablement Hive (OE Hive) is to provide administrative, governance support to CC OE Hive CPO, Tech Lead POs and teams across the various underlying initiatives / projects to ensure alignment to
The Bank\'s Investment governance standards as guided and directed by CC Portfolio Management, CCIB Portfolio Management, TTO Portfolio Management, Enterprise Portfolio Management
Additional requirements / directives coming top down from across TTO, CCIB & CC
For this role, the main activities include:
Supporting the CC OE Hive Chief Product Owner (CPO) & Tech Lead in planning/prioritisation and execution, mainly by providing and offering data and insights from a look across underlying projects and initiatives mainly in terms of

  • Financials (forecast, budget, the business/benefits case)
  • Headcount (on seat vs to be hired)
  • Risks and Issues relating to Scope, Timeline, Capacity/Resourcing and Cost
Tracking and reporting the status of activities, deliverables and milestones both at the Program level as well as at the underlying/component Projects level
Preparing Programme or Project documentation and reporting as relevant and required e.g. CC OE Hive submissions into the CC OE Hive Refinement Forum (RF), the CC Quarterly/Monthly Performance Review (Q/MPR) forums, TTO Q/MPR/RF or any other steering committee/forums as required
Driving, promoting and aligning the Program and Project Management methods, standards by sharing best practices or proposing and sharing improvements to streamline on Investment Financials, Admin & Governance processes across the various Projects/Initiatives.
Working with CC OE Hive Initiative PO and team to ensuring Clarity, aXess, sharepoint and other golden source systems used across CC Investments is up to date and house-kept at high quality for CC OE Hive Program and its underlying Initiatives and Projects including
  • Schedule of activities, focusing on Go Live milestones
  • Risks, assumptions, issues and dependency registers
  • budget and forecast and resource / capacity plans
  • RAG - overall status, cost, timeline, scope
  • Timesheets for Mandays
Ensuring project/program artefacts (including sign off/approval/baseline emails, are stored in a structured, discoverable format for future audit
Reviewing General Ledger /cost journals or other adhoc exception reports received from Finance, TTO/CCIB/CC Portfolio Management, TTO/CCIB/CC COO etc. to ensure correct booking and forecasting of expenses, including ensuring that pending invoices are tracked till completion and reflection into the right Initiative/Project
Support the CC OE Hive CPO, Tech Lead and PO and teams as required
  • Schedule meetings (including the booking of meeting venue if needed)
  • Support / coordinate T&E bookings
  • Taking minutes (mainly for CC OE Hive Refinement Forum, or any other key regular or adhoc meetings)
  • Liaison with the CC OE Hive team and other stakeholders if needed
  • Represent at meetings as needed
  • Coordinate programme/ project activities as needed

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Any Degree from a recognized university
  • 5+ years of experience working in Portfolio, Program or Project Management
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Agile Practitioner
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and multi-cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Be able to operate independently and demonstrate robustness in ethics and resilience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
