Summary Salary: Competitive Team: Design and Development Location: Singapore - St James Power Station HeadquartersAbout usAs Portfolio Analyst - Robot, reporting to the Head of Portfolio - Robot (based in Singapore), you will be a key contributor in shaping Dyson\'s future Robot plans. As part of the Home BU Robot Team based in Singapore, you will work with counterparts from across the Home Business Unit and wider Dyson.Through research, financial and non-financial analysis and modelling as well as structured thinking to support strategic decision making you will support the Home BU in bringing a compelling Robot offering to market. A key component of your role will be to build findings into clear, well-presented and concise outputs to enable the Home BU Robot team to act swiftly within this fast-paced category.This role is based in Singapore to enable proximity to both key markets as well as development partners.Research to support the development of Robot strategy - for example market and category data, finding external thinking and commentary on the robot category, understanding of key consumer trends and competitor context. You will challenge and verify intelligence and sources. A strong link with the Competitor Team and key market teams on this fast-paced category is critical.Data analytics - manipulation and interrogation of internal and external data to draw strategic insights and aid decision making. Work closely with Insights Lead - Home to ensure commissioned insight work is impactful within future plans.Own and maintain key data sets, champion the use of them to ensure consistency of analysis. Support the Home BU Robot Team in future volume forecasting for the category and Dyson.Provide key category data and assessments for Head of Portfolio - Robot and the Home leadership to communicate upward to Exec and Board in relation to the Robot category.Manage external relationships where needed, for example data providers - work across the Home BU to ensure provision and budgeting for Robot category data needs.Communication - data presentation, story construction, PowerPoint creation - which will be used at the most senior levels of the company. Be able to manage the development of key decks including version control.Keep well read and aware of current affairs and external perspectives.Structured thinking. You will need not just be given tasks to complete, you will be given questions and problems to solve, you will need to work out how to do it. Use qualitative and quantitative evidence to make recommendations and direct your judgements.About youYou\'ll be capable of logically de-constructing an issue or problem and finding creative solutionsAble to handle large amounts of information and provide quick, timely analysis in keeping with time pressures for projects.Forensic and dogged passion to find data and evidence, with a good ability to manipulate and present dataYou can understand the big picture and not get distracted, yet also don\'t settle for second best, you challenge and double-check.
