GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Portfolio Manager ("PM") is a member of Asia Investment Management (AIM) division i.e. Bank Julius Baer's (the "Bank") investment management competence center for Asia strategies. His/her main responsibilities include the day-to-day management and monitoring of the Asia Fixed Income Discretionary Portfolio Management ("DPM") mandates, UCITs Funds and Structured Products offered to the Bank's High Net Worth clients. The incumbent is expected to work closely with the Relationship Managers ("RMs") to understand the clients' unique goals, risk profiles and ensuring the consistent implementation of mandates against the mandate's stated guidelines or clients' requirements. The PM will also be responsible for the oversight of the strategies managed by him/her, which includes ensuring the compliance of DPM mandates, UCITs Funds and Structured Products with the applicable laws and regulations. The Fixed Income PM should have prior relevant experience and a proven record of accomplishment in the Asia Fixed Income Portfolio Management field.
As a Material Risk Personnel of the Bank (as defined under the Individual Accountability and Conduct policy), you have the authority to make decisions or conduct activities that can significantly impact the Bank's safety and soundness, or cause harm to a significant segment of the Bank's customers or other stakeholders. As a Material Risk Personnel, you are also to comply with the standards of conducts expected and satisfy the fitness and propriety on an on-going basis.
