We are currently partnered with a US head-quartered Asset Manager with over $100B AUM on behalf of major pension funds, endowments, foundations, governments and other investors.Their Singapore office is seeking a VP, Portfolio Manager to join the Equity Portfolio Management team. The quantitative active equity investments team is rapidly growing across APAC.Responsibilities:

• Lead meetings with clients, consultants, and prospects to communicate and explain portfolio performance, positioning, and the systematic investment process
• Answer ad-hoc inquiries from clients, consultants, and prospects
• Work closely with other portfolio managers to oversee and manage client portfolios, including monitoring portfolios and approving trades
• Collaborate with other investment team members to identify and deploy enhancements to investment process
• Participate in internal investment policy discussions and decisions

Requirements:

• 10+ years\' experience in finance, preferably asset management, investment consulting, or academia, with emphasis on quantitative investing and risk management
• The ability to conduct meetings with clients and prospects; Experience interacting with Asian investors and a good understanding of their investment preferences will be a plus
• Ability to perform reviews of equity portfolios, generate ideas and recommendations to improve our systematic portfolio management process
• Strong technical background preferred, e.g., Python programming
