Job Description


Join our Portfolio Performance Group (PPG) as PPG Analyst to gain exposure to a wide range of specialist portfolio company functions and work alongside investment teams and portfolio companies supporting various initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region.

The Portfolio Performance Group has been established to enhance our traditional active approach to managing and driving performance of portfolio companies. PPG is a lean group of functional experts who work alongside investment teams and portfolio company management to identify key risks and opportunities in the portfolio and work collaboratively to implement initiatives to address these.

Globally the Portfolio Performance Group will comprise of functional specialists across Transformation and Operations, WHS (Workplace Health and Safety), Human Capital, Sustainability, Procurement, IT (Information Technology) and Cyber Security. As the PPG Analyst you will have the unique opportunity to get involved in, support and learn about each of the functional areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the APAC PPG team on live transactions, projects for existing investments and the delivery of functional priorities
  • Gather, review and analyze portfolio company data to drive and support data driven decision making, as well as partner with asset management teams to validate submissions and assess discrepancies
  • Coordinate ad hoc projects through to completion per agreed time limits and budgets
  • Support the development and maintenance of PPG systems and materials such as playbooks and case studies
  • Assist with managing PPG\'s panel of preferred suppliers, including coordinating RfPs (request for proposal) and benchmarking suppliers
  • Examples of function specific responsibilities for Transformation and Operations will include:
  • Program coordination of multiple concurrent transition plans to support optimal deployment of PPG resources
  • Project management of individual transition plans to ensure the effective transition of assets
  • Information gathering and vendor coordination for procurement reviews within and across assets
  • Liaising with deal teams and vendors to support pricing and productivity analysis projects
  • Coordination of the Deep Dive process, loading with deal teams and PPG specialists
  • Data collection and analysis to support deep dive insights and effectiveness
  • Maintenance of the PPG asset register ensuring asset performance metrics, functional RAG assessments and strategic initiatives are up to date
  • Examples of function specific responsibilities for Cyber and IT will include:
  • Supporting the roll out of the Cyber Alignment Framework to Board Nominees
  • Supporting training and awareness sessions for Board and Management of the portfolio companies
  • Project management of individual transition plans to ensure the effective transition of assets after acquisition
  • Organizing Communities of Practice for Technology and Cyber Security across the portfolio
  • Maintenance and coordination of the annual refresh of the portfolio Cyber Risk Qualification
  • Collating Cyber related events and News
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role, you will have strong coordination, organization and time management skills. You will have demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the proven ability to develop trust-based relationships at multiple levels within an organization. You take initiative and embrace problem-solving frameworks, coupled with strong influencing and communications skills.

To be considered for this role, you will have:
  • 2-3 years\' experience in project management or Coordinator role; experience within the financial sector preferred.
  • Exceptional business acumen with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in data analysis and visualization tools desired but not required.
  • Strong time management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and projects effectively
  • Preferably a native Korean or Mandarin speaker
