YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Summary

Reporting to the VP BES Strategy & Business Development APAC, the Post Merger Integration Manager develops and implement the Post-Merger Integration plan in line with corporate requirements:

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Lead cross-functional programs through a high-impact and high-profile initiative
  • Develop the integration strategy, set integration guiding principles and act as a champion of the vision of the integration and program management structure to create the drive needed to capture the value of the transaction
  • Focus the program on the most critical tasks and align all stakeholders with the deal thesis
  • Collaborate with Finance Controlling to track and capture synergies
  • Participate in target company\'s due diligence process in order to develop a sound integration plan, involving both target company\'s and Brenntag\'s
  • Understand the priorities, operating needs and responsibilities of the different work streams, and anticipate, plan and solve for cross-functional interdependencies
  • Communicate goals and objectives to all stakeholders across all levels in the organization, including target company\'s founders and senior management, senior executives, steering committee and sometimes the board
  • Build cross-functional relationships and bridge the operations of different functions
  • Recognise and mitigate risks early, reducing bottlenecks that hold up progress
  • Constantly review the integration plans to confirm that they still support the evolving deal model, assumptions and goals of the organization and that the team can quickly pivot when necessary
  • Inspire teams that may have never collaborated to work toward a shared goal and help work streams or teams balance competing priorities and manage any differences that may arise
  • Motivate the work stream leads throughout the duration of the integration to confirm that all goals are achieved
YOUR PROFILE
  • Bachelor\'s/master\'s degree in business administration or similar with minimum 5 years\' experience in M&A/Due Diligence processes
  • Strong project management, analytical ability, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to exercise commercial and business acumen
  • Hands on, willing to deal with details and is meticulous
  • Resourceful and able to work independently; ability to work in matrix structure
  • Ability to work with tight timelines and challenges
  • Possess good communication, interpersonal and people management skills and can be a strong business partner for
  • internal stakeholders
  • Team player with drive and positive attitude
  • Excellent speaking, writing and presentation skills
