Position title : Powder Coating Technician Location: Jurong / Boon Lay - Company transport at Lakeside mrt station 7:30am & 8pm Working Days: Mon - Fri 5 days Working hours : 8:00am - 5.30pm Salary: $1600 - $2500 Role Responsibilities Setup powder coating system manual spray booth and conveyor system line Pretreat, clean, mask, prime and powder coat a variety of parts as needed Perform required quality checks including 1 st piece, sample piece, in- process and final inspection Load parts onto system line/ trolley and change hanging patterns as needed Apply powder to parts on conveyor line or in manual spray booth, using electrostatic paint gun Perform housekeeping, cleaning and planned powder coating system maintenance Sanding, grinding, buffing or correcting parts as needed Perform powder coating color changes and follow change over procedure Perform segregation, separation, packing of coated parts and follow traceability procedure Respect and follow quality, health, safety and environmental policies and procedures Perform simple troubleshooting as needed Assist team lead to manage consumables and spare parts inventory Other duty as assigned Role Requirements 1 - 2 years powder coating experience Basic knowledge of reading part blueprints and knowledge of maintaining powder coating system functionality Basic computer knowledge Attention to detail, multi-tasking and effective time management Ability to stand, bend, lift and carry heavy part Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Able to carry out all listed responsibilities independently and effectively
