. This role demands deep domain knowledge in
power system design, electrical integration, and complex engineering project leadership
. As a key technical authority, you will oversee full project lifecycles, mentor engineering teams, and serve as a subject matter expert in client-facing and cross-functional engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the
design, development, and integration
of BMS and next-generation energy storage systems such as
solid-state batteries
.
Conduct and review advanced
power system studies
, including load flow analysis, short-circuit studies, protection coordination, and system stability evaluations.
Oversee
system integration
efforts across hardware, software, and controls in energy storage and distribution projects.
Provide strategic
technical oversight
from conceptual design through implementation and commissioning.
Collaborate with
mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams
to deliver comprehensive, production-ready energy solutions.
Author and review
technical documentation
, including engineering specifications, design reports, schematics, and test plans.
Interface with
clients, partners, and stakeholders
to define technical requirements and translate them into engineered solutions.
Mentor junior engineers
, providing technical guidance, peer reviews, and fostering a culture of engineering excellence.
Ensure all designs and deliverables meet relevant
safety standards, industry codes (e.g., IEEE, IEC), and regulatory compliance
.
Contribute to the strategic direction of the
Agile Energy Services Hub
and other innovation-driven business initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in
Electrical Engineering
,
Power Systems
, or a related field.
10+ years of experience
in power systems engineering, energy storage, or advanced energy technology development.
In-depth knowledge of
battery management systems (BMS)
and
energy storage system (ESS)
integration.
Strong understanding of
power electronics
,
control systems
, and
embedded system design
.
Proficiency in industry-standard simulation tools such as
ETAP, PSCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, or PSSE
.
Solid grasp of relevant industry
standards, codes, and compliance frameworks
(IEEE, IEC, UL, etc.).
Demonstrated
project leadership
and engineering team management experience.
Strong
analytical thinking
, with excellent attention to detail and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Effective
communication and stakeholder engagement
skills, including experience in client presentations and technical negotiations.
Prior experience in
R&D, innovation projects
, or early-stage technology development is an advantage.
