Interim Finance Lead (Confidential) -- Pre-IPO Restructuring, Carve?Outs, Audit Readiness


Location: Hong Kong / Singapore / Remote

Confidential, high?growth fintech preparing for investor DD and audit completion ahead of a pre?IPO pathway; seeking a part?time/interim finance leader to deliver carve?out financials, restructuring documentation, and auditor management on a 3-6 month horizon.





Your mission


Own carve?out financials under IFRS/GAAP, accounting policy memos, disclosure packs, and opening balance sheet for the new structure. Lead audit readiness: PBC list ownership, data room build, diligence Q&A, weekly cadence with auditors and counsel; drive to clean opinion. Execute restructuring documentation: entity rationalisation, intercompany mapping, controls remediation plan, and handover runbook. Report to founders/board with KPI dashboard, risks, and critical path to audit sign?off.

What you bring


CPA/ACCA with Big 4 audit background; 12+ years in carve?outs, consolidations, and IPO/RTO audit readiness. Proven auditor management and technical accounting depth (IFRS), plus program governance under time pressure. Precision in documentation and cross?functional coordination with legal and tax.

Engagement and compensation


Part?time/contract, 2-3 days per week average for 3-6 months; remote?friendly across HK/SG/MY with periodic on?site as needed. Market retainer with optional capped milestone bonus tied to audit completion; no proceeds?linked fees.
