As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will work collaborate with the sales team by acting as technical experts in customer presentations, determine the technical requirements, create and deliver the proof of concept to meet client's needs and liaise between the sales team and product managers. You will also respond to requests for information or request for proposals from customers. Responsibilities:
Developing solutions and organising, planning, creating & delivering compelling proof of concept demonstrations
Ensuring solutions stated in the Statement of Work are best practice and in line with client requirements
Managing the sales bid process by responding to RFI's & RFP's
Working closely with Sales to ensure successful closure of the sales process
Liaising with Product Managers to provide feedback from clients about product requirements
Keeping abreast of market trends and product & competitor landscapes
Any other responsibilities
Key Requirements
At least 1 year prior experience within presales
Windows Server, IIS and MSSQL (must have knowledge and technical skills)
Networking (Ports , FW rule and configurations )
Strong presentation skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Writing & Technical Writing
Troubleshooting skills
Strong problem solving and prioritization skills
Proven ability to work in a team to develop, compile proposals within tender schedule constraints
Proven ability to be creative and develop alternative solutions as required
Proven ability to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
Adept at working with multiple stakeholders
