Job Description

Primarily responsible for assisting in translating business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs, code, modules, stable application systems, and software solutions.

Work closely with development teams to facilitate the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications.

Responsible for supporting retail systems in both Project and BAU functions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop application using existing and emerging technology platforms
• Maintain existing software and provide third level support for resolving production issue
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve application functionality related issue
• Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and recommends technical solutions
• Ability to provide quick turnaround to production application issues and change requests
• Demonstrates good understanding of the business needs driving the projects
• Support project deployment and related activities
• Deliver detailed documentation and ensure quality throughout project lifecycle.
• Investigate, identify and resolve application defects, providing user operational support and ensure full availability of all enterprise website applications.

Job Requirements:

• A good degree in Computer Science or related major that provides foundation for Information Systems
• Minimum 6 years working experiences as Solutions Architect or Technical Architect
• Minimum 4 years working experience as Java Developer and 2 years as in a Team Leading role
• Experience in Openshift pipeline and Axway API Gateway Configuration / Policy Editor.
• Strong in Java SE, J2EE, Web application implementation (HTML5, CSS3, JS) and web service implementation (SOAP, and Rest based), Jenkins
• Python exposure and exposure to artificial intelligence good to have
• Hands on exposure in to DevSecOps
• Experience in using Agile methodology
• Build detail level designs for new functionality as well as migration of legacy technology to go forward technology
• Work with QA partners to review test cases and automated test plans
• Perform code reviews, Clean Code, Security dev practices
• Excellent understanding and practical experience of Spring Frameworks (IOC, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Integration, Spring Security etc.).
• Strong analytical ability over business & technical requirements and issues, with good problem-solving skills
• Core development experience in medium or large-scale enterprise Java applications.
• Strong business analysis, requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, vendor & project management skills.
• Experience working with and applying Design patterns to solve problems.
• Capable of working the full technology stacks (Front & back).
• The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• The individual may have varying levels of responsibility depending on project needs
