Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Create a secure and quality learning environment for children through fostering trusting and respectful relationships with them.
• Support the holistic development of children through implementing a developmentally and culturally appropriate curriculum.
• Build partnerships with parents and families, and actively engages in centre initiatives to support its collaborative efforts with the community.
• Undertake the teaching of a class in accordance with the school\'s agreed policies and guidelines.
• Responsible for all aspects of classroom management maintains a tidy, well-organised room.
• Collaborate with principal and teaching staff to establish and develop effective pupil assessment procedures and moderation portfolios.
• Provide planning documents identifying specific learning objectives, differentiated tasks, special needs, extension and assessment, to the Principal or other authorized officer.
• Guide, motivate and monitor assistant teachers in carrying out their tasks.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (Teaching) or equivalent.
• With 1 - 3 years of teaching experience or willingness to acquire knowledge of inquiry based learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passionate and dedication towards children\'s learning
