• Implement developmentally-appropriate curriculum according to the Company's curriculum framework

• Responsible in maintaining quality classroom and learning environment that supports development in accordance to the curriculum framework

• Foster trusting and respectful relationship with children and parents, by being a positive role model

• Execute daily routine accordance to time schedule

• Administrate minimum paper work for reference / recording purposes

• Consistently maintain regular observation and evaluation of infant/toddler's development and growth progress

• Ensure safety of each child through close supervision, whether in the classroom setting, play area, or any other areas within the school compound

• Perform childcare / infant care routines in a prompt and hygienic manner that is consistent with the early years child development practices. These routines include diapering, feeding, bathing, hand washing, napping and transitioning between activities

• Maintain daily journal of milk feeds, solid feeds, diapering, etc., in accordance to relevance for each development group (Babies, Junior and Senior Infants)

• Plan and implement engaging learning experiences/exploration

Qualifications:

For Infant Educarer positions:

• At least Certificate in Infant/Toddler Care and Development (CIT) / Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) / Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)

• Candidates who are keen for a career-conversion to pursue his/her passion in early years education are welcomed to apply

For L1 positions:

• At least Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (English), or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Early Years (WSQACEY)

• Minimum B4 in equivalent language in a national/state examination or C6 GCE 'O' Level in foreign language for ACEY

• L1 LON by ECDA

For L2 positions:

• At least Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education - Teaching (DECCE-T or CECCCE), or Diploma in Child Psychology & Early Education

• Minimum B4 in equivalent language in a national/state examination

• L2 LON by ECDA

Other Information:

• Ability to build good rapport with parents and various stakeholders

• At least one (1) year of relevant experience preferred

• Mature, trustworthy and responsible disposition

• Willing to learn, with good attitude

• Able to work well independently as well as within a team

• Passionate about working with infants/toddlers

• Driven to make an impact in the early years education sector
