Job Description
SMMIS is recruiting a English & Hebrew speaking Preschool Teacher for our Jewish Preschool.
Job purpose:
To deliver the highest standard of Jewish Education teaching and learning to students.
Main job responsibility includes, but not limited to:
- To enhance the Jewish Education learning and teaching experience for students
- To develop effective teaching and learning strategies within the curriculum area
- To provide a child centred approach to teaching and learning that focuses on growth in academic, social-emotional, physical, and spiritual areas
- A progressive approach to education
- Excellent communication skills
- Patience in dealing with students and parents
- Sound organisational and time management skills
- Nurturing manner and ability to show compassion and care with young children
- Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education or relevant qualification
- At least 3 years' of teaching experience and working with children in a preschool setting
- Knowledge of the TaL AM curriculum, Ivrit B'Ivrit would be an advantage
- Fluent in speaking and delivering lessons in English and Hebrew
- IT skills is required
