Roles & Responsibilities Preschool Teacher/Senior Preschool Teacher (English/Chinese/Infant Care) (5 or 5.5 days work week) Description The Teacher is responsible for implementing the Child Care/ Kindergarten curriculum and providing an optimal environment where children have the opportunity to develop their potential for intellectual, emotional, social, physical and spiritual growth. The Teacher must be respectful of children and parents, in the interest of establishing healthy and professional relationships.

• Plan and deliver the Child Care/ Kindergarten curriculum within the framework of Anglican Preschool Services Ltd
• Create a classroom environment conducive for learning and appropriate to the physical, social, and emotional development of children
• Prepare materials and set up the classroom learning centres, displays and documentation
• Provide bi-annual progress reports for every child
• Establish collaborative partnerships with parents for the children’s development
• Attend all related meetings and participate in team planning sessions
• Maintain a high standard of professional competence through continual professional development

Requirements

• Professional: Early Childhood Teaching Diploma qualifications / Early Childhood Certificate qualifications / Advanced Certificate in Early Years. We welcome applicants who are interested to pursue such qualifications
• Academic: GCE ‘O’ Levels (preferably 5 credits) / equivalent secondary qualification / 10 years of formal education
• Language: Preferably minimum B4 for GCE ‘O’ Level English Language / equivalent language qualifications / WPL SOA 5
• Passionate in working with children
