Job Description

The Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship provides the opportunity for early career scientists, engineers and scholars from Singapore and around the world to conduct independent investigations in any discipline at NTU, often regarded as the most research intensive university in Asia. The postdoc appointment is intended to provide a pathway to an academic appointment as an assistant professor or another international postdoctoral assignment.

In this project, the Presidential Postdoctoral Fellow are expected to:

Key Responsibilities:

To conduct high-quality innovative research in terms of publishing top-tier papers

To research on and develop general-purpose artificial intelligence (AI) models for computer-aided medical images and neuroimage analysis

To research on and develop techniques for adopting the general-purpose AI models for different medical imaging and neuroimaging applications with minimal resources.

To work with faculty in giving potential academic and research supervision to graduate students

Job Requirements:

PhD Degree in Engineering Science, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant fields.

Strong record of research and relevant publications in reputable peer-reviewed international journals and conference proceedings

A good track record of securing competitive research scholarships and grants

Experienced in cross-disciplinary research initiatives and collaboration

Good interpersonal skills

Good English writing and verbal communication skills

Good programming skills (Python, Matlab, Pytorch, tensorflow, etc.)
