Duties and Responsibilities

Follows established procedures and guidelines to design, install products and services that is required by the Organisation / Client. Reviews / implements project / job specification. Carry out basic and detailed engineering design including calculations / analysis as per project requirements. Prepares detailed material take-off for project procurement and tender proposals. Assists in preparing cost estimate for tender proposal. Coordinates and cooperates with other disciplines on new process requirements, design interference check and design changes Adheres to ISE, Client and International Standards quality requirements in the execution of works as applicable. Instructs, supervises, manages and monitors the Designers in the course of work. Provides technical assistance to Construction Team Attends to Site checks / verification

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering Familiar with related industrial code and standard such as API 650, API 620, EN14015, ASME Section VIII, division 1 or 2. Minimum of 3 years in the relevant working experience in design and drafting of tanks and pressure vessels in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Industries. Computer literate and good hands-on experience on applications such as Microsoft Office, Auto CAD and tank software. Matured personality and being able to work independently * Good interpersonal, time management and decision making skills
