About the roleWe are looking for a Analyst - Pricing to provide analytical and presentation support to the Senior Manager Book management. The Specialist will collate and report the relevant market trends that have iron ore price negotiation implications. This includes monitoring, interpreting, analysing and summarising price sensitive material on an ongoing basis.This role is a great opportunity for an assertive individual who is interested in building the base skillsets across multiple areas and prime themselves for specialisation/growth in future.Reporting to the Senior Manager Book management, you will:
Maintain and update pricing database.
Prepare monthly, bimonthly, quarterly and annual pricing packs.
Track competitors\' pricing and spot activities to generate quality insights.
Provide recommendations on pricing mandates that support RT in maximising value for our products.
Evaluate and analyse pricing mechanisms/indices as required.
Provide support for pricing-related projects and initiatives.
About youTo be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
Bachelor Degree in Finance or related disciplines.
At least 2-3 years of progressive experience across market analysis, research, or sales and marketing related.
Experienced in bulk commodity environment.
Strong analytical skills, in tandem with presentation abilities.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
