You love Science and want every student to develop a passion for the subject as well. An NIE trained teacher, you have spent at least 5 years teaching in Singapore schools and are very familiar with the current primary school Science syllabus.The Science Clinic is currently looking for ex-MOE teachers who are enthusiastic about teaching Science to join our team. As this is a part-time position, it would suit those looking for flexi-work arrangements.

• Plan, prepare and teach lessons for students at the Primary level.
• Manage the class well and establish a joyful and effective learning environment.
• Perform classroom administrative duties and assist in implementing safe management measures when required.
• Establish and maintain a rapport with parents to update them on students' progress and offer strategies / suggestions for improvement.
• Assist in the creation of teaching materials / resources

Job Requirements

• Degree holder
• NIE Trained
• Have a working knowledge of the current MOE Primary School Science Syllabus and the pedagogy of teaching Science
• At least 5 years relevant teaching experience (MOE schools)
• Cheerful and enjoy working with young people

• Must be willing to work on weekends (either Saturday or Sunday)

Working Schedule

• 2-4 lessons per week including Saturday or Sunday or both days.
• Remuneration will be on an hourly basis.
